In this trip, PTV organise Hoi An city tour for you to explore the enchanting beauty town of Hoi An. As you know, Hoi An was the trading seaport of Vietnam in the 16th century and it had the cultural exchange between Vietnam, China and Japan. This town is well known for its various temples, assembly halls, pagodas, ancient wells…
The first place is a Chinese Assembly Hall, you will find the most featured architectures of this colorful place. In the old days, lots of Chinese merchants went to Hoi An and set up their own communal house and meeting place. Therefore, Chinese Assembly Hall became a meeting point where people can exchange their ideas and opinions.
Entering the Chinese temple, you can find 3 separate areas with typical Chinese architectures. Today, it is the holy place for the local to come and make their wishes.
Next, we are off to an old house of Tan Ky. This house is one of the elaborate ancient houses in Hoi An. The family has been living here for a long time. Back to the old days, the house was a merchant shop with 3 different rooms: while the rear close to river to unload the goods, the family members lived on the second floor and the front for sale. Coming to this place, you can find 3 strong architectural styles: Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese.
Lastly, we head off to Hoi An’s symbol: Japanese Bridge. Therefore, the bridge built by Japanese traders for the function of linking 2 towns: China and Japan towns. It was also the wish made by Japanese people in preventing earthquakes that happen quite often in this country.
Besides, you can also come to visit Hoi An central market and enjoy performance in the local theatre.

HOI AN BIKING TOUR:
If you want to find the real of Hoi An, let’s join Hoi An Biking Tour. This trip will give you a deep insight into the local culture. So as to begin the trip, we will come and collect you at the hotel and we start biking our bicycles to Tra Que Vegetables Village first. Thus, this is an organic vegetables village in Hoi An established long time ago. Coming here, you can see a variety of vegetables grown over here such as coriender, lettuce, spring onion, lemon basil, cabbage, bok choi ect. Besides, you can join some farming activities with the local people such as raking the field, growing the herbs and watering the soil to know more of their daily life.
Furthermore, we keep riding our bike to pass through massive green paddy fields of Hoi An. Sometimes, you can see farmers working in the field or water buffaloes bathing in the mud. You camera is ready to take many beautiful pictures.
To keep on our Hoi An Biking Tour, we then head off to Cam Kim islet that lies on the other side of legendary Thu Bon river. Upong coming here, we then ride our bikes around this lovely rustic village and make some visits to local crafts including rice noodle making, sleeping mat weaving, basket boat making and even wood carving. You will truly understand more of the local lifestyle and how they live as well as preserve their traditional job through the time.

So upon coming here, we then get on one of the round boats and go deeper inside the coconut forest. Thus, the boat rider will instruct you how to row this unique boat. And he or she will help you out make some local souvenirs out of coconut leaves such as rings, watches, grasshoppers…
Later on, we will move outside the jungle and watch the local guys perform their oracle boat performance. They will spin you around and make you laugh out loud. You will definitely have a fun with them.
Lastly, you will also see how the local people cast their fishing net into the river to catch some fishes. Upon your request, you can do it by yourself.

MY SON SANCTUARY TOUR:
If you want to explore a really ancient Hindu temple complex in Hoi An, let’s journey to My Son Hindu temples.
So, we will come to collect you at your hotel in Hoi An and then directly transfer you to My Son Sanctuary.
As you know, My Son Holyland is the most typical Hindu structure in Southeast Asia. The Cham people built it in a dense jungle forest and later discovered by the French people in 1895.
The Sanctuary of My Son consists of many groups: A, B, C, D, G, E, F and H. Although the severe war damaged lots of temples in 1968 but strong efforts made by the local people turned My Son into a place you must visit while you are in Hoi An.
On arrival, we then meander around this site and sightseeing the main groups of My Son: B, C, D and following with visits to other groups of G, E, F. You will find out how the Cham built the temples thousand years ago without using any mortar or concrete.
Besides, you will enjoy a performance in a theatre for you to know distinctive culture of Cham people. Lastly, we will transfer you back to Hoi An and we would like to end our tour here.
