FISHING TOUR HOI AN ITINERARY:
Fishing in Hoi An
To begin our trip, in the morning, the tour guide will come to pick you up at the hotel in Hoi An and then we start off our trip. We will start our biking tour by leisurely cycling from your hotel to the dock near Cua Dai beach. From here, you will get on our boat and we are sailing to the fishing village of Ghenh near Cua Dai Estuary. On the way, you can admire the peace, calmness of Hoi An countryside and waterways.
Upon coming here, you are transferred to a little fishing boat and we take you to a place where you can try to drop off the fishing net in the water. Then you will learn how to lift the net up to catch some little fish such as grey mullet, sardine or majarra. Once the net lifted up, you will take boat to open the net and catch them. At this moment, your camera will be ready to take some of amazing photos.
To move on our tour, our boat is sailing further on the river. Our next activity is to jump on another boat then the local fisherman will instruct you how to cast the fishing net into the river. After that, you will pull up the net by yourself and can show your fish basket to the people. You will have such a great time with them.
Continuing our fishing tour, we then head up to Cam Thanh Water Palm Village. Here, the local guide will take you further in water coconut jungle. Hence, this is a revolutionary base of all soldiers and local people in the war.
Later on, they will teach you how to row the basket boat (thuyen thung; coracle boat), showing you how to make some of origami souvenirs out of coconut leaves. Simultaneously, you can learn how to catch some little crabs for fun as well.

Following our fishing trip, we come out further on De Vong river. From here, you can watch how the local guys spin their boats with all excitement of the local people and tourists. This moment will be endless.
Ending the trip is to take you to a local restaurant where you can have some of local dishes.
Enjoy your lunch, the following is to hop on our bikes and we start cycling along Hoi An rural parts. We then follow some of narrow village lanes of Hoi An and visit the local life. Moreover, we will bike through rice paddy fields, then stopping a while to listen how the guide tells you about the rice farming crop of Vietnamese people. Next parts on our trip is to cycle through some shrimp, fish and duck farms to grab some of the nicest pictures of our trip before we are heading back to our hotel.
