Vietnam Tour Package from Israel Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Vietnam so upon coming to Noi Bai Airport, the tour guide and driver from Premium Travel Vietnam (PTV) will come to meet you up at the airport then we directly transfer you to the hotel in city center for check in. You can relax after a long flight, the rest of the day is on your own.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour

Vietnam Tour Package from Israel begins with Hanoi city discovery. Thus, our highlights today are Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Temple of Literature built in twelfth century to teach royals about Confucius’ ideas. As you finish, the guide will take you to a local restaurant for you to taste some of Hanoi’s cuisines.

In the afternoon, we continue visiting Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc Pagoda. They are one of oldest pagodas in Hanoi and used as festivals, full moon and Tet Festivals for royal families and members in the old days and in the present.

 

Later, we will go to Hanoi Old Quarters for rickshaw ride to witness the rich culture and daily life of Hanoians. Take a walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and listen to story of your tour guide as well as enjoy Water Puppet show in the theatre.

Finishing the day is to go back to the hotel.

In the evening, take a night train to Sapa (8 hrs)

Day 3: Sapa Trekking

As the new day begins, at arriving in Lao Cai, our guide and driver will meet you up and then transfer to Sapa (40km) to your hotel, you can refresh yourself and enjoy breakfast.

After that, hike some 10 km from the Y Linh Ho village and trekking through Y Linh Ho to the Lao Chai and Ta Van hill tribe villages. Thus, this trekking pathway is with many ups and downs along the buffalo trails and passing through a suspension bridge, local houses of the Black H’Mong ethnic people, with the terrace rice paddy fields, the bamboo bushes. So, you will have a great chance for sightseeing and interacting with the local ethnic people to know their unique way of life, this trip is absolutely amazing and a must do when you are in Sapa.

On arrival to Ta Van Village, check in  the home stay in Ta Van, take shower and relax, you enjoy your free time in the afternoon time exploring the Ta Van village and its surrounding area, taking photograph and interacting with the local tribal people.

Day 4: Cat Cat Trekking

As the sun rises, after enjoy breakfast at your home stay,  our Vietnam Tour Package from Israel continues with 3 km trek on the road from Sa Pa winding through hilly terrain and passing by terraced rice fields to reach Cat Cat cultural village – 3kms far away from Sa Pa town (around 2 hours for walking and visiting).

Reaching here, you will be amazed by amazing scenery of Fansipan Mountain, with traditional houses of the black H’Mong tribal people. You might visit a local family to have an overview of the traditional customs of the ethnic Black H’mong minority. Stop by a stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station, constructed by the French during the colonial time in Viet Nam

In the late afternoon, we will pick up for a transfer from central Sapa town to the Lao Cai Train Station for another night train back to Hanoi.

 

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay

Upon reaching Hanoi Train Station, we will come to pick you up then transfer you to Halong Bay. We might stop for a break time on half way for a refreshment. During the trip ( 4 hours ), you can sightseeing the peaceful countryside scenery before we arrive at Ha Long bay port around noon time.

Let’s enjoy a welcome drink when you aboard the cruise for check in procedures. The cruise team will serve you a sumptuous lunch with fresh seafood meal while our cruise slowly sails into Halong Bay – spectacular place in Vietnam.

In the afternoon, we will take you to tour Halong Bay to view thousands of islands and islets with magnificent caves and grottoes inside the islands, admiring fantastic stalactites and stalagmites like germs and listening to the legends of the Dragons in the area. In addition, you can have a chance to visit a floating village, or going for kayaking (on your own expense, upon request at Cruise’s reception).

 

In the evening, you can watch the sunset and enjoy dinner on Cruise, socialize with other guests or join evening activities such as squid fishing and so on .

Day 6: Halong Discovery:

In the morning, let’s refresh your body and soul with a Tai Chi martial art lesson on the sundeck before we continue to sightseeing tour with some highlights such as Fighting Dog islet, Fighting Cock, Incense Burner Islet, Amazing Cave and Ti Top Island.

Around noon, we will return to prier, and disembark the Cruise & say farewell to all crew member,

Our driver will come to collect you for another 4 driving back to Hanoi Airport for domestic flight to Hue city.

On arrival in Hue City, meeting our guide and then we transfer to your hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can enjoy your dinner in the hotel or go to city center for a stroll.

Day 7: Hue city tour:

Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors’ splendor in the past. Nowadays, Hue is peaceful green city, a rather small city but enough to be interesting.

 

Another day has begun and our Vietnam Tour Package from Israel starts with a dragon boat ride for on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda). Hence, the 500 year old pagoda is the holy place for Hue who come to pray and practice Buddism. This is the living for Buddist monks and novices as well.

From here, we then head off to Hue Imperial city – the home of the Nguyen Dynasty for almost 145 years (1802 to 1945). Hence, this is a large fortified rampart 2 km square and ringed by a moat taking its water from the Perfume River. This enclosure consists of 3 walled cities within each other: the Citadel, the Imperial City, and the Purple Forbidden City. They are all impressive in size and contain lot of historical value of Hue.

Reaching here, we then stroll around this huge complex and pay a visit to Noon gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Royal Theatre and Truong Sanh Residence…You will know more the life of the royal family in the past.

Next, enjoy lunch in the local restaurant before we are going to King Khai Dinh’s and King Tu Duc’s Tombs. They are typical of Oriental architectures and reflected hidden Confucius’ ideas.

 

Eventually, we come to visit Dong Ba Market.

Day 8: Hue – Hoi An ancient town:

Leaving Hue old capital behind, we today head to Hoi An ancient town – a charming beautiful town by the Thu Bon river, a little VENICE of Vietnam. So, this is the town of lanterns and tranquil historic former trading port that will bear in your mind.

We will follow the Highway and pass through rustic villages, lakes, rice paddy fields and lagoons…We then have a coffee break by the Lagoon before we go up Hai Van pass (the Pass of the Ocean Clouds).

The pass has many stunning view and snaking pathway with rocky mountain on one side and beautiful view of Da Nang city on the other. We might stop for you to have picturesque photos of the region.

Next, we pass by coastal city of Da Nang before heading to Hoi An. On arrival, we will come and check in hotel.

Overnight in Hoi an, you can have some free time in the evening looking around Hoi An town by night or having dinner on a riverside restaurant facing waterway.

Day 9: My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An city tour:

 

Today, our Vietnam Tour Package from Israel moves on with sightseeing My Son Sanctuary in the morning. So, My Son was also a political centre and a royal burial ground for Champa Kings and the complex consists of more than 70 structures devoted to Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

Back to the old days, My Son was the sacred site for the Cham people who came to give offerings to Hindu Gods and they prayed for well being, prosperity, good luck and good crops.

Upon coming to My Son, we then wander around and visit groups of B, C, D, G, E, E to know more history of Cham culture. And their special techniques in building temples without mortar is incredible.

Later, you also enjoy Cham dance show to know about activities of Cham people’s daily life.

Upon finishing, we then head back to Hoi An for lunch in a local restaurant. Following that is Hoi An city tour: we have some highlights in half day tour Hoi An (Chinese Assembly Hall, Ancient Merchant Houses, Japanese Bridge, Hoi An market). You will have a deep insight into Hoi An culture.

Ending the day is transfer back to the hotel.

 

Day 10: Hoi An Farming and Fishing Tour:

Advancing to our Vietnam Tour Package from Israel, today we jump on our bicycles to head to a local fishing village. Therefore, we take the ride through some small lanes of local village passing by some rice fields, fish ponds or local markets.

Reaching Cua Dai area, we then board a boat cruise heading to Ghenh Fihsing Village. Let’s get ready and we will transfer you to a local fishing boat taking you out to the net. From here, you learn how to you unlock the string then release the net into water. Waiting for a while, then you start to pull up fishing net from water using your feet to slowly bring up the net from water surface. Once you tie up the net, let’s ride your boat to open the net bottom and catch some fisheries. You will surely have some great fun.

Next in our tour, our boat continues to sail along tranquil sceneries of the Thu Bon river. Meeting a local fisherman, we wave hands to say hello and then you will get on his boat. Then he will instruct you how to cast fishing net into the river, make sure that you keep your balance when doing it. Next, you will use your hands to lift the net up from water and hopefully in a lucky day, you can get some local fishes and crabs…What a great hands on experience!

 

Proceeding on our tour, we then take you to Bay Mau Water Coconut Forest. Here, you will learn about revolutionary war happened to this village in 1968. Then board a local round boat (basket boat) leading you inside the coconut forest, there are some interesting activities such as catching little crabs, making Origami souvenirs from leaves.

Besides, you can enjoy basket boat spinning performance by the locals and have a great chance for photograph and a big laugh for funny atmosphere.

Finishing this, we then ride our bicycles to the rice field. Here, you can jump on water buffalo to have a fun ride, taking some photos for memory then jump on little wooden cart holding buffalo’s tail learning how to rake and plow in Vietnam. Once you have done that, we then teach you how to plant rice crop as well.

Later on, we go to a local family house then learn how to remove rice off from plant using very traditional equipment from our previous ancestors. Next, we will instruct you how to thresh rice into rice flour and learn how to make Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pancake) in Vietnam.

 

Enjoy lunch and from here, we head back to our hotel. The end of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11: Fly from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh:

In the morning, after breakfast, meeting our guide and driver at the hotel lobby and we will transfer you to Da Nang airport for domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh city. On arrival, meeting our guide and driver then transfer you to midtown for check in procedure.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh city tour

Starting our Ho Chi Minh city tour to sightseeing Reunification Palace – former residence of Nguyen Van Thieu (former Saigon President). Next, we will tour Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral: an example of typical French remain of architecture in Saigon.

Next part in our trip, we then pay a visit to Saigon Central Post Office: designed by French and one of iconic and highlighted remarks in Ho Chi Minh city.

Afterward, we then heading to War Remnants Museum with many photographs are from both Vietnam and US sources; American military vehicles like tanks, jet, booms display outside.

 

We then ride  to Thien Hau Pagoda which is located inside China Town, it’s a place of great historical and cultural importance many of temples, pagodas in surrounding area. Before the tour ends, stop over for shopping at Ben Thanh Market in city center then back to your hotel in Sai Gon.

Day 13: Cu Chi Tunnels:

As the sun rises, we will be on our journey to Cu Chi Tunnels –  a massive tunnel network built by Viet Cong guerillas in the Vietnam war.

Reaching her, you will watch a short movie briefing some information about Saigon Cu Chi then jump down the ground walking in a few meters long to feel Vietnamese real history. Therefore, you will discover one of the most Vietnam’s interesting and sad episodes of our history. In these tunnels they built not only traps and hideouts, but also hospitals and homes. You seem like penetrate into Vietnam’s incredible history with us.

Finish the day, we then transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 14: Mekong Delta Full Day Tour

Today, we will depart Ho Chi Minh City towards My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Cruise along the river and observe the characteristic stilt houses and fruit plantations of the delta. We then proceed to have lunch at Turtle Island in a local restaurant to taste some of local food then take a boat trip in the shade of coconut palms.

Here, you will visit a family business, noticing how they make coconut candy and local local products to get a closer touch with this rural way of life. Explore the small coves by boat and stroll through the fruit plantation and the village. We then proceed to Can Tho city.

Day 15: Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City:

Enjoy a morning boat trip and sightseeing bustling the Cai Rang Floating Market –a wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at the busiest time of the day. We will cruise along small canals and visit an artisanal rice noodle factory. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in the Mekong Delta. Have lunch then take the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 16: Ho chi Minh Departure Flight:
