Route: Hoi An – Highway 1A – Myson

In the morning, pick you up at the hotel and then car transfer to Myson – the most holy Hindu place for Cham people in Viet Nam. It was also served as the religious center of the former Champa Kingdom. Myson, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site and is located in a very lush green valley with dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. You can admire the talent of the Cham people in the old days when they used no mortar to glue bricks but by the scientists used tree oil and sugar cane honey to stick them together. Myson used to have 70 temples but now there are only 20 temples or towers left in three main groups of B, C, D. Especially, you will enjoy Cham dance show in the theatre with the most featured part named Apsara and you will understand more about Cham people’s working life.

Next we will head back and on the way we stop near Cau Lau bridge to take boat trip back to Hoian. It is the chance for you to admire the landscapes of the area. Our next top is Thanh Ha pottery village, this 16th century existing village is famous for its intricate, lovely hand-made pottery products. You can demonstrate by yourself. Moving on the tour, the boat ride will take us to Kim Bong carpentry village. Around the village are shipyard and wood – carving factories, you can stroll around to see how they do wood – carving work and inlay with mother of pearl and have a deep insight Hoian culture. Finally, we take you to riverside restaurant for lunch with very nice Vietnamese food. When you finish, we would like to take you back to your hotel or drop you in town as per request.
