DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP – LINH UNG PAGODA
To begin the trip, we will come and with the sign board picking you up at Da Nang International Aiport then transfer you to restaurant for lunch. After that, we will transfer you to Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula. Thus, this huge Kwan Yin statue was built on the side of Monkey Mountains with the blessing to give the people all best wishes and good luck. This 67m high statue is so amazing and brilliant as we can see the whole view of Da Nang city.
On arrival here, we then stroll around the site and visit to Kwan Yin statue. This massive complex was built in 2009 and Vietnamese people also come and pray for good luck in the wet season. To continue, we then head to Linh Ung Temple where there are beautiful bonsai trees in front and all decorative motifs and designs inside the temple. You can light up an incense to pray for your family.

DAY 2: GOLDEN BRIDGE – BA NA HILLS
First, the day begins by car transfer to the well known amusement park of Da Nang – Ba Na Hills. The car drives us through pretty Da Nang city and heading to Ba Na Hills. Upon reaching Ba Na, we then take cable car at first station to come up and visit giant Golden Bridge. This bridge is so impressive and unique one which is considered as the God’s Hands coming out, holding up the people.
Next, we are off to Flower Garden of Ba Na with all charming kinds of flowers as well as former French Wine Cellar where you can taste some wine out there. Finishing up this spot, we then take another cable car to reach the summit of the complex.
At arriving at the top of Ba Na, you can wander around the place and can experience 4 seasons in one day out here together with sightseeings to Fantasy Park, Catholic church, Buddist temple and grab your chance to take one of the best pictures with the artists.
Later, we then take you for lunch. As you finish, we go back directly to the parking and the car will transfer you back to the hotel.
DAY 3: MARBLE MOUNTAINS – HOI AN BASKET BOAT
As the sun rises, the guide and tour guide will come to collect you taking you to Marble Mountains – one of Da Nang’s main tourist attractions. Hence, this spot is popular for its Buddist temples, sanctuaries and caves.
Reaching at the place, we then take the lift up and be around and pay a visit to 7-level Xa Loi Pagoda, Linh Ung temple with statues of big budda and kwan yin close by. To continue the tour, we will walk up few stairs and visit beach watching tower and then later on to Huyen Khong cave where there used to be the hospital and hiding place of the local people in the war. Ending up the trip by a sightseeing to river watching tower with panoramic view of Da Nang’s marble district.
We then come back down and head back to Hoi An city to water coconut jungle where you can sit in a while enjoying all nice breeze watching fishing boats and coracle ones go by.
The guide then briefly tells you the history of the place and then you will get on one of round things called “basket boat” to go inside the forest to know more of the war. By the way, the boat guy will make some of souvenirs out of coconut leaves such as grasshoppers, watches, rings ect. Also, you will have a litle fun by catching some of little purple crabs.
Finally, let’s enjoy nice Vietnamese meal in one of the restaurant nearby before we have a car transfer back to your hotel.
DAY 4: FULL DAY HUE IMPERIAL CITY TOUR
Our last day trip starts with a car transfer to Hue – ancient capital of Vietnam in Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to1945 – via Hai Van Pass (the Pass of the Ocean Clouds).
Thus, this pass is one of impossing passes in Vietnam with all green landscape and snaking pathway. Moreover, the pass used to be the Highway of the country till the Vietnamese built the tunnels. We make some stops along the way for you to admire unspoilt beaches of Da Nang. Another stop on top where the brick towers and American bunkers are will remind you of the past war that affected the area.
We are then going downhill with another stop to view pretty panorama of Lang Co beach and its fishing village. The place is so calm and beautiful with emerald blue water and amazing mountain range as background.
On arrival in Hue, we will first visit Hue Citadel – the former royal home of Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. This 500 ha complex has 3 walled cities: the Citadel, the Imperial city and the Forbidden city. Our sightseeings here will be Imperial gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Royal Theatre, Truong Sanh Residence ect. We will know more of the royal life in splendid time of Nguyen dynasty.
We then keep moving onto tour by having lunch in one of the best restaurants in Hue where you can sample some of Hue’s specialties. Later on, we transfer you to Thien Mu Pagoda.
It is also called Heavenly Lady Pagoda – one of 20 most pretty places in Hue in old times. It was the place for the Emperor to come to relax and write poetry. Today, it is a holy place for Hue people who come here often and make their best wishes.
In front of the spot is a 7-storey pagoda and there is a triple gate with guardians on both sides behind. Located in the main sanctuary is Dai Hung temple where Buddist monks come to worship. To the back of the spot is an old car that took superior monk Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in Saigon in 1963.
Finishing up the day by car transfer to Tu Duc Emperors’Tomb. This is a lovely green place with all temples, hills, lakes built by the Emperor in accordance with Feng Sui concept from China. The tomb played the role of summer retreat and second home away from the Citadel for the Emperor to relax and enjoy.
Upon reaching, we will wander around and visit temple where the Emperor and his Empress are worship. Later with a visit to his former poetry place and eventually to his burial. All seems to remind you of glorious time of Nguyen dynasty and the Emperors’luxury.
Ending the day by car transfer back to Hoi An.
DAY 5: AIRPORT TRANSFER
