OVERVIEW:
Central Vietnam has a long standing history of the country. The central Vietnam land is the mix between many cultures during the remarkable history of the region such as Cham culture, Dai Viet culture, Chinese culture…This is a contribution to a diversified culture of the region. Today, central Vietnam is the land of dramatic history, fascinating landmarks, idyllic beaches, speactacular caves…all the elements required for a truly fabulous holiday.
So as to provide a truly amazing trip to central Vietnam from beautiful Myanmar, Premium Travel Vietnam (PTV) organise Central Vietnam Tour Package from Myanmar.
CENTRAL VIETNAM TOUR FROM MYANMAR ITINERARY:
Day 1: Airport Pick up – Linh Ung Pagoda – Marble Mountains:
To begin our trip, the guide and driver from PTV will come to meet you up at Da Nang International Airport and then transfer you to a local restaurant for lunch. This is the place where you can taste some of the local food.
After that, we then transfer you to sightseeing Lady Buddha Statue (Goddess of Mercy) located on Son Tra Peninsula. Thus, this is ideal spot for tourists and local people to come and have a panoramic view of Da Nang bay and the city. Besides, this is the spot where you can admire the highest Buddist statue of the country with 64m high. In 2009, Da Nang’s People Committee built the religious complex for Buddist followers and now it is one the most well-known spots of the city. Hence, you can come here and pray as well.
After enjoying your time, we then head off to visit Marble Mountains. This is Buddist sanctuary for Buddist prayers. In general, the whole complex owns five marble hills that represent five basic elements in Oriental concept such as Water, Wood, Fire, Metala and Earth. Out of five, the Water mount is the biggest one.
So on arrival, we will take the elevator up to wander around this lovely area and discover some Buddist temples. First, we pay a visit to 7-storey Xa Loi Pagoda, then Linh Ung Temple; following the trip, we then head up to Van Thong cave then Huyen Khong cave. So, the cave of Huyen Khong played a role of hide out and hospital for local people in the war. Coming to this cave, you will know more about the cave as well as admire the fighting spirit of the local people. Moreover, in sunny days, the cave is just stunning with all incense, sunlight mixed up, creating such a fairy land in the story.
To end up, we will grab a whole view of Marble Mountains at River watching tower. From here, you can have a look out to romantic CoCo river.
Ending the day trip, we then go to hotel for check in.
Day 2: My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An City Tour – Basket boat
As the sun rises, we then transfer you to the former holy place of the Cham people – minority group of Vietnam and visit My Son Sanctuary.
Historically, My Son Holy land built by the Cham people in central Vietnam when they lived here for them to come and prayed to Hindu Gods. Accordingly, the Cham built the site from 7th to 13th century and became the most typical Hindu structure in Southeast Asia.
The complex of My Son was divided into many groups of A, A’, B, C, D, E,F, G, H with the main temple in the middle of the group. Surrounding the main one are auxiliary temples playing different functions of water keeping, changing room, meditation house…Moreover, the main worshiping in My Son Sanctuary is the set of linga and yoni with the wish by the Cham people that they would have fertility, happiness, well off, better crop…My Son Sanctuary was listed as World Heritage in Dec 4th, 1999.
So upon coming here, we then get transfer by buggy car then strolling around this holy site and pay a visit to various Hindu temples. Since then, you can admire and show your respect to the ancient Cham people building up such a massive complex. Surprisingly, you will find out how the Cham people building the temples without using any mortar or concrete. Lastly, to know more of Cham culture, you can enjoy a performance in the theatre.
Later, we head back to Hoi An city and take you to a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, take a walk to Hoi An ancient town. This is the typical ancient street of Hoi An, that can show your great atmosphere of the ancient town which used to be the bustling trading port of Vietnam in the old days.
Our next visit is Japanese Cover Bridge – the symbol of Hoi An. Following the tour, we then visit Tan Ky old house, the most well known and authentic ancient house in town. Then take a walk along the Nguyen Thai Hoc – the ancient street of Hoi An to the market of the town to visit the local market of Hoi An. Our final sightseeing is Phuc Kien Congressional Assembly Hall, the communal place for Chinese community from Fukien province in China. Thus, this is the worshiping temple to Thien Hau, the Goddess protecting people on the sea – that was so important for the Chinese Merchant and fishmen in the past.
To end the day trip, we will transfer you to Cam Thanh village where you will have a captivating experience of Hoi An fishing life. Hence, you will take basket boat along small river and watching all fishing activities of the local people. Then the rest of the day is on your own.
Day 3: Ba Na Hills Full Day
To continue our Central Vietnam Tour from Myanmar, today we will depart for Ba Na Hills – The King Mountain in Da Nang city.
Therefore, Bana Hills was the summer resort of the French in the past where they came here for relaxationa and entertainment. Today, Bana Hills is the most famous spot of Da Nang city, thus it is considered as second Sapa of central Vietnam thanks to its pleasant weather. In a day, you can experience four different seasons in Bana Hills.
At arrving here, you will take the cable car system to visit the Golden Bridge – symbol of Ba Na Hills, a Giant Hands of Mountain God. So we will walk along the Golden Bridge then followed by a visit to French Wine Cellar as well as Le Jardin Flower Garden and Linh Ung pagoda. From here, you will see the panorama of Danang City.
Afterwards, we will explore King Peak at an altitude 1.487m, you can see panorama view of the Bana Hills and Da Nang city on high. On the top of mountain have Linh Tu Pagoda that is a special temple dedicated to Goddess of Mountains.
Continuously, you freely explore Bana by yourselves with Fantasy park (joining games freely), The Church in French Village.
Later, enjoy our Buffer lunch in Aparang Restaurant with a variety of Vietnamese dishes.
End the day is to go back to our hotel.
Day 4: Hue City Tour
Today, we come to Hue – romantic city by the Perfume river to know all splendor of Nguyen Dynasty. We star our trip with a winding drive through Hai Van Pass (the Pass of the Ocean Clouds). You will have such a spectacular view of the area. Next, we stop by the railways and take photos of Lang Co Town which is picturesque and sugar white beach.
Later on, we will transfer you to the boat landing for a leisure boat trip along the Perfume River to visit the towering Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous Vietnamese landmarks.
Upon finishing, we then head off to Hue Imperial Citadel, and then Forbidden Purple City, built as living quarters in the 19th century for the Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty.
After that, we drive to restaurant for lunch and enjoy classic Hue’d cuisine in beautiful garden setting.
Following Hue City tour, we then take a short drive into a lush valley of the city to tour Khai Dinh Tomb to help you understand more of royal life and their architecture.
Finishing the day, we then take you back to the hotel.
Day 5: Airport Transfer
