CENTRAL VIETNAM TOUR PACKAGE FROM SINGAPORE PROGRAM
Day1: Airport pick up – Marble Mountains
As to start our Central Vietnam Tour Package from Singapore, our guide and driver shall come to welcome you at da nang airport. Then we directly transfer you to Hoi An city.
On the way to Hoi An, we will sightseeing Marble Mountains – one of Da Nang’s tourist attractions. Thus, the whole mountain area is made of marble and there are five of them: Water Mountain, Wood, Fire, Metal and Earth symbolizing five elements.
Hence, Marble Mountains is popular for its Buddist temples, sanctuaries, pagodas dating back hundred years ago. Moreover, it played the role of a hiding place of the local people in the war. Nowadays, lots of visitors come here and do sightseeing the place and even pratice their religious belief.
Upon reaching the site, the guide will take you up by the elevator and we then stroll around this place and pay a visit to Linh Ung Pagoda, 7-storey pagoda, Van Thong cave. Especially, your tour guide will show you Huyen Khong cave that was the temporary hospital in the war and also takes you up at rive watching tower where you can grab panorama of the whole area.
To finish up, we go back down then our car takes you to hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2: My Son Sanctuary – Hoi An city tour – basket boat tour
As the sun rises, your tour guide will come and meet you at your hotel and we drive south west of Hoi An to sightseeing My Son Holyland. So, this spot used to be the most holy place for the Cham people in Vietnam. In the old days, they came here to worship for their kings and prayed for best wishes such as abundant crop, good climate, prosperity ect.
So, My Son has a cluster of roughly 70 temples built from 7th to 13th century. The Cham people built it in the dense jungle forest and it was unearthed by the French in 1895. Moreover, the French found out that My Son had several groups of A, B, C,D, E,F,G,H. During the time and wars, some of groups had been gone and some of them still remain.
Surprisingly, the conception of the Cham people is to worship a set of linga and yoni in My Son. As argricultural people, they had to rely on the changes of weather and universe and therefore led them to worship symbol of fertility of men and women.
In additon, the Cham built amazing Hindu temples in My Son but they never used glue or mortar in sticking bricks together.
So upon coming to My Son, the guide will show you around this former sacred place and from then you will know a lot more of Cham culture. As soon as we finish, our car will take you back to Hoi An for lunch.
After lunch, the guide will show you around Hoi An ancient town – World Cultural Heritage. Hence, we will wander around this lovely small town and visit Chinese Assembly Hall with typical Chinese architecture. Next, we move into Hoi An’s ancient houses where you can find a strong mix up between three architectures: Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese. By the way, you can know more about their daily life. Then, we will end Hoi An city tour by visiting Japanese Bridge – a symbol of Hoi An people.
To move on our tour, the driver then takes you to Cam Thanh village in order for you to enjoy basket boat tour in 7 ha Bay Mau nipa forest. This is a special boat for Vietnamese fishermen to come out and fishing in the sea.
After the guide’s explaination about the area, you will get on the basket boat and go further out where you can see the exciting the area is! There are hundreds of boats filled with tourists taking them outside and watch some fishing activities such as throwing fish net in the water, catching little crabs ect. Through this activities, you will have an insight into Hoi An fishing culture.
Later, we will bring you back to the hotel and we will end the day tour. The rest of the day is on your own.
Day 3: Hue city tour
Today, our central Vietnam Tour Package from Singapore continues with a visit to Hue – the ancient capital city of Vietnam.
So, we firstly drive through Hai Van Pass – the Pass of the Ocean Clouds – one of amazing passes in Vietnam. This is a nice winding drive through snaking way with beautiful water on one side and rocky mountain on the other side.
We then make a stop for you right on top where you can have some free time to be around and see some old relics such as U.S bunkers and brick watching towers built by Nguyen Emperors.
Later on, we are heading to Lang Co town and then you can photograph the panoramic view of Lang Co village. What a lovely Lang Co town is!
To continue our journey, we will pass through rustic, fruit farm villages of Hue as well as green rice paddy fields of the area. Possibly, you can make some photos if you want.
At arriving in Hue, we will visit Hue Citadel – a massive fortification built by Nguyen Royal family from 1805 till 1832. Thus, Nguyen Emperors built the Citadel for royal activities, living quarters and religious center as well. This spot is huge with three walled cities from outside to inside: Hue Citadel, Hue Imperial and Hue Forbidden City. Although the site suffered a lot from the wars in 1947 and 1968 but many of buildings still remain intact.
Therefore, we will walk around this impressive complex and pay a visit to Noon gate (South Gate), Thai Hoa Palace, Forbidden city, Royal Theatre, Queen Mother’s House ect. Through the story of your guide, you will know more about the royal life, activities as well as former splendor of Nguyen Dynasty.
So as to move on our trip, we then take you to a local restaurant for lunch where you can sample some of Hue’slocal specialties such as fig salad, spring rolls, pancakes ect.
Finally, we are off to Tu Duc Tomb – one of the best and nicest tombs in Hue. Thus, on arrival, we then go in the site and explore this pretty complex with green trees, little hills, lakes, palaces, temples ect. In the old times, Emperor Tu Duc built it for him as a summer vacation, second home for him to stay beside Forbidden city so he could come here to relax.
Ending up the day is to have car transfer back to hotel in Hoi An.
Day 4: Ba Na Hills Golden Bridge Tour
We continue to start off our Central Vietnam Tour Package from Singapore by a car transfer to Ba Na Hills in Da Nang city – one of Vietnam’s biggest amusement parks, second Sapa of Vietnam due to its pleasant weather.
Thus, Ba Na Hills was ideal spot for French officials to come and relax and enjoy their holiday in late 19th century due to its highest height. Now, it has become a “must do” site for visitors coming to coastal Da Nang city, especially for them to come to admire Golden Bridge with giant hands.
At arriving here, we then take cable car to reach to Golden Bridge, admiring masterpiece of human, following that is Flower Garden, Wine Cellar…
Furthermore, we will head up to the summit of Ba Na Hills where you can find the real excitement. So, there are many things for you to enjoy such as Fantasy park, Wax museum, outdoor performance, Catholic church, Buddist temples ect. You will harmonize yourself in an atmospheric setting that you have not seen before.
Later on, you can have some free time looking around and taking more pictures. Lastly, our guide will come and tak you back to the car and then we head back to our hotel.
Day 5: Departure flight
You will have your own time in the hotel and wait for our car to come to collect you for Da Nang airport for departure flight. We wish you had the best time with us and we will end our service here.
