Exciting Hue Jeep Tour
In the morning, we come and meet you up at the hotel in Hue and we will commence Hue City Tour by Jeep Car.
Firstly, we will transfer you to Tu Duc tomb – the 4th Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. The tomb is located about 6 km from Hue center. This spot was built from 1864 to 1867 for the Emperor Tu Duc to come and to relax and enjoy his holiday with concubines and minor wines.
Thus, the tomb has two parts: the temple and the burial. While the temple built to dedicate to the Emperor and his Empress, the burial place was designed for his after life. In general, the tomb is green beautiful with all temples and pine tree forests. Besides, around this spot are small canals and lakes and many pavillions making the tomb so nice and charming.
On arrival, we wander around and visit the Emperors’ Palace as well as Xung Khiem Pavillion. Lately, we come and visit the tomb where his remains are buried.
Tranquil Tu Duc Tomb – Hue
To continue our Hue Jeep Tour, we hop on our jeep and we directly transfer you to Khai Dinh tomb.
The tomb built with the mixture of European and Asian architectures. The overall tomb is huge block building with all designs and decorations. In front is Honor courtyard with statues of mandarins and the Memorial to worship. And there is Palace on top with featured mosaic architecture and stunning interior designs.
At arriving here, we walk up stairs and admire the outstanding efforts of local people in the old days. We will take our time for photos before heading back down to our jeep car.
To move on our tour, we then drive back to city center for boat cruise on Perfume river. By the way, your camera is ready to grab some pretty pictures of dragon boats and watch the daily life of the local people.

Reaching the dock, we will walk up and visit one of the most beautiful and important Buddist pagodas in Hue – Thien Mu Pagoda. Hence, this pagoda was built in 1601 by Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu. Long time ago, many Nguyen Emperors came to write poems and relax.
Today, this spot is one of the most holy and sacred places for Hue people and tourist to come and pray for their best wishes.
In front of the pagoda is 7-storey Phuoc Duyen tower; there is a main sanctuary behind the triple gate where people come to practice Buddist religion. In the back of the place is an old car that took Superior monk Thich Quang Duc to his self-immolation in Saigon in 1963.
Finishing up the site, we are off to a local restaurant for you to sample some of Hue’s specialties. Following that is a jeep transfer to Hue Citadel.
Hue Imperial city
The Hue Citadel built from 1805 till 1832 and had with 3 walled cities: Hue Citadel, Hue Imperial city and Hue Forbidden city. Thus, it was built for religious, political, defensive purposes for the royal family. We then walk around and visit Hue Imperial gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Royal Theatre, Truong Sanh Residence and The Mieu Temples.
Although the war hugely devastated the Citadel but it still has many sightseeings for us to visit and to remember the former splendid times of Nguyen Dynasty.
Upon finishing, our jeep will take you back to the hotel. Our Hue city tour by jeep car will come to an end here.

A major attraction is its vast, 19th-century Citadel, surrounded by a moat and thick stone walls.
